The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County (IHNSC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides many layers of services for homeless families with children. IHNSC provides a valuable service as most other programs for homeless families do not provide the range of services to families with children. Temple Beth-El hosts clients of IHN six times a year, approximately February, March or April, June, August, October or November and December.
The families call Temple Beth-El “home” for a week and compassionate volunteers like you give their time to assure that the families have a warm and welcoming stay with good food, play, and lots of good conversation Getting involved requires only a few hours from one to six times a year…you choose your level of involvement. Every volunteer is an important mentor to our IHN families.
