Come join the fun on Sunday, September 12!
We're gathering to build and decorate the Sukkah and reconnect with our temple family. We'll have lawn games and music -- and maybe some ice cream! Kids of all ages welcome.
If we get rained out on the 12th, the Sukkah building rain date is September 19.
More info on Sukkah Building: Adults and children alike are welcome to help build the sukkah. No experience necessary -- you don't even have to know how to work power tools which makes this great for kids! This will take you back to your childhood days of Lincoln Logs (except on a bigger scale!). This has always been a fun activity with many groups within the temple participating. Please bring gloves if you have them and definitely bring a mask. (Vaccination and masks required. Because this event is outside, we welcome children who are ineligible to be vaccinated (under 12)). Fresh disposable surgical masks will be provided and are preferred over cloth masks.)
And we'll need schach for the sukkah, too. Leafy branches, long bamboo cuttings, evergreen, corn stalks, etc. Items should be at least a few feet long to help make a leafy roof. Leave shach on the side of the patio by the large social hall. Thank you!
Please use the sign-up below to let us know you're coming. We're especially interested in knowing that we have enough builders and folks to take down the Sukkah. For those coming for the activities, you need only RSVP in one slot.
