Volunteer Shifts

We love volunteers! Sign up now to help at the 6th Annual Clarkston State Bank Back Roads Half Marathon, 5k & 10k Race! A portion of the proceeds from the race will be supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Disaster Relief At Work (DRAW).

As a thank you for helping, you'll be getting a sweet Clarkston Back Roads beanie hat and you'll also receive a food and beverage voucher, to be used on race day- good for a complimentary beer from Motor City Brewing Works (providing you are 21+ years of age) or a hot chocolate, and a bowl of Clarkston Woodshop mac & cheese! This is the wild card position!! If you’re flexible with your role the day of, and physically able to stand/lift/be on the move, this is your calling!

Take gear check bags from runners/walkers, mark bib # on bag, and keep in an organized fashion for when they come to pick up after their race.

Pour water and Gatorade into cups and hand out to runners. (Runners will pass through 2 times) Located just before mile marker #2
