2022 NORTH SHORE BIRDING FESTIVAL, December 1-5, 2022

Due to the festival being volunteer-run and many problems with our trip locations due to flooding, we are not able to continue changes registration.

We hope those who have registered enjoy the festival!

Orange Audubon Society hosts its 7th annual NORTH SHORE BIRDING FESTIVAL to highlight the Lake Apopka North Shore.

Have you surveyed the festival offerings on the festival website before beginning registration? https://northshorebirdingfestival.com/schedule

See this At-A-Glance sheet to help with scheduling. Trips tailored to photographers are highlighted in green.

The NORTH SHORE BIRDING FESTIVAL does not have an exhibit hall and central registration site. You will travel in your own car and meet at the site listed for each field trip. You will be sent directions and reminders for your trips in the week before the trip. Plan your route, as field trips will start on time.

This SignUp Genius registration program is not smart enough to eliminate schedule conflicts, and it is up to you to make sure you don't overbook yourself. Most morning and afternoon trips have been scheduled to allow you to get from one to the other. You may need to bring your own lunch or snacks in order to make the connection. Box lunches are provided at the McDonald Canal on specific Friday, Saturday and Sunday trips where indicated. If any questions, email [email protected].

Very important: You will choose available slots and pay using PayPal or by entering your own credit card and will receive a confirmation from SignUp Genius. But there's one more step before your slot is secured -- filling out the pre-festival questionnaire which includes the liability waiver. If you don't fill that out or fail to sign the waiver, you will be notified and must correctly fill it out to hold your slot.

You can fill out the prefestival quesionnaire in advance of your registration or immediately after. Here is the link: https://forms.gle/d1k5cZU8nwfyQRii9

You can register for up to 2 people in a transaction. You will need the cell phone number, emergency contact name and number, and meal preference for the additional person if any requested trips include lunch or you are signing up for a keynote/dinner (non-vegetarian, vegetarian or vegan).

For more than 2 people, please start a new transaction.

Again, registration is not final until each participant in your party has separately completed the questionnaire with liability waiver. Exception: for participants under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the form.

If you encounter any problems with registration or have other questions, please email [email protected] or call (407) 637-2525.  We look forward to seeing you December 1-5, 2022!
