Voter Registration Drive
Become an active Citizen Bear by registering to vote & voting in your local, state & national elections!
September 16th, 17th and 19th, 2019
Table volunteers assist students with questions and filling out the Missouri voter registration card properly. This is an active volunteer experience!
The ideal voter registration drive volunteer is one that is comfortable asking the question, "are you registered to vote?" to students passing by the table, engaging in conversation and answering questions.
Volunteers must be able to understand the provided 4-step voter registration instructions and actively help others fill out the Missouri voter registration card.
Instructions are attached below. Please read prior to your volunteer time. If you are unable to view the instructions, please call or email Stacey via the info below or stop by the Office of Public Affairs Support in Library room 202-J.
You may choose to volunteer for as many time slots as your schedule allows. However, please commit to the times you are volunteering for, as last minute changes and/or 'no shows' creates a real hardship on the event and other volunteers.
The PSU voter registration table will be located outside the PSU's South Court on the sidewalk facing Siceluff Hall's west door. In case of rain, this table will be moved inside the PSU at the 2nd floor tables across from Bear Necessities - please report to the inside PSU table if raining.
All volunteer hours are approved for CampusLink and the event contact person is Stacey Trewatha-Bach. All volunteers will be emailed a letter confirming their volunteer hours during the week of Sept.24th.
