Matilda Volunteer Help

It's time for our major musical and we can't put it on without you!

Please sign up below to support our fabulous kids in this big production!  Whether you can donate your time or donate some baked goods, it all matters and is very much appreciated.  Please help in any way you can!

Please email Angela Powell Walker if you are still in need of a parent volunteer badge ($10 processing fee) or a parent volunteer badge with FBI fingerprinting (approx $60). it can take a few weeks to complete the FBI fingerprint processing. 

We are asking every parent of a student in the production to at least volunteer for 2 - 3 volunteer slots and/or donated items (water, cookies, candy and chips for concessions).

Donated items including water, chips, and candy can be dropped off at the front desk with a label Matilda/Liz.  Concession cookies need to be dropped off the day of the show. 

Here are the specific volunteer needs:

-Parent/Guardian chaperones starting with our rehearsal on Monday October 21st through Thursday November 1st.  Angela is requesting 1 parent per rehearsal given the size and age of cast. This parent volunteer MUST have a volunteer badge.  

-Assistance with making candy grams we need 5 people for 4 hours on October 19th from 12:30 TO 4:00PM .

-TECH week Backstage Chaperone  This will begin Friday November 1st through Wednesday November 6. Times are tentative.  Will update once Eva finalizes the schedule. We need 1 parent volunteer each day who has a volunteer badge with FBI fingerprinting.

- Ushers for the 4 day shows on Thurday November 7th and Friday November 8th.  These shows are not open to the public. This usher role will need to be there for the entire show to help with arrival of the students and dismissal to their buses (9am - Noon morning show and 11am-2pm afternnon show)

-Backstage Chaperone  This role is requested for every performance and does require a Parent volunteer badge with FBI fingerprinting.  Starting Thursday November 7 through Sunday November 10.

- Assistance with meals/snacks  Between shows for Thursday November 7th through Sunday November 10th. This will include setup, monitoring and clean up of the multipurpose room.  This role requires a parent volunteer badge.

- Concessions/Candy grams and Roses  We will be selling these items at all of the shows. We are asking each parent to be there 1 hour in advance of the show for setup and then help with selling concessions, roses and candy grams at intermission.
