Butler County United Way is known for joining together with community neighbors throughout Butler County to give back in a way that will build a solid foundation for the future. We often organize events tailored to one of the building blocks for a good life: Health, Income Stability/Basic Needs, or Education.
Focusing on the pillar of Health, our 'Sports Olympics' event will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019. We will be teaming up with Butler County Special Olympics, Great Miami Valley YMCA, and The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.
Participants will be spending time with volunteers while enjoying different field day activities at The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields in Fairfield. The field day activities will include:
Corn Hole Toss
Hula Hoops / Jump Ropes
Tee Ball Game
Water Balloon Toss
Participants MUST register no later than May 1. Please use the sign up tool below to register for the time most convenient for you. The Field Day activities will be coordinated around the normal Saturday baseball games.
A pizza lunch will be provided at no charge for participant athletes only. In addition, Kona Ice will be on hand if you would like to purchase an ice treat. A percentage of the proceeds from the event sales will benefit Butler County Special Olympics and Butler County United Way.
Make sure the participant wears comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the Field Day activities.
Unfortunately, if the day brings inclement weather, the event will be canceled. We will do our best to notify you of any cancellations as quickly as possible.
We hope you will join us for this fun and worthwhile event!
