We need lots of volunteers to make our booth at OCHEC a success. Sign-ups are for adults only but children are welcome and encouraged to work the booth with their parents as personal input is encouraged! Have the time to sign up for more than one spot? Please do!
Booth volunteers will be responsible for the following:
- handing out flyers
- sharing personal experiences about the choirs
- answering questions about the rehearsal locations, times, tuition, etc. All of that information is provided for you at the booth.
- inviting those interested in the COHC to write down their name and email address on the sign up lists provided (check to be sure it is legible). Stress that they are not joining the COHC by giving their contact information. We will send them an email with links to more COHC information after the Expo.
- inviting all to the Spring Concert
The booth will come with all items needed including a Vender badge for you to wear while in the booth. You do NOT have to be registered for the OCHEC convention to serve at the booth, but those NOT registered for OCHEC Convention, will need to exit the convention floor once the volunteer hour(s) have been completed.
Arrive at the booth 10 minutes early in order to switch Vendor badges with other volunteers. Once you have given your Vendor badge to the next volunteer, those registered may remain at the Convention.
For those who have not registered for the OCHEC Convention, you will not be permitted back into the convention hall once your "Vendor Badge" has been given to the next volunteer. Also, if you are not registered to attend OCHEC and are not allowed to enter the convention hall, please contact Kathy Gossen at 405-833-6427 or Minda Ciardi at 325-513-4018. Both Mrs. Gossen and Mrs. Ciardi will have a copy of the Volunteer schedule with phone numbers and will be able to contact volunteers throughout the day. Someone from our booth will bring you a Vender badge by the hall entrance. Thank you for helping to spread the word about COHC!
