Each summer, FUMC Coppell partners with Metrocrest Social Services to provide food each week to children who are on the free or reduced lunch program during the school year. These are children and families in the Coppell school district. In the summer of 2019, we served 161 children from 59 families over 12 weeks. With the current economic situation, the number of children and families has grown and FUMC Coppell will need to supplement the groceries provided to us from Metrocrest.
We need shoppers to help obtain grocery items for program startup and as needed throughout the summer. Items need to be delivered to FUMC Coppell between 11 am and 12 pm on the date specified in time slot. Please keep your receipts! Coppell Cares will re-imburse shoppers after receipts are turned in to the FUMC Coppell Finance office.
