2020 HammerFest Volunteer Sign Up

We look forward to having you as a volunteer for the 2020 Hammer Fest and Hammer Ride! We have several options to volunteer, please read the description carefully and choose the one that fits you the best! 

Saturday, March 14th: This is the main event and will take place at Pepper Place in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.

Sunday, March 15th: The Sunday Hammer Ride will start and end at Avondale Brewery.

We have volunteer shifts on Friday-Sunday (March 13th-15th). Please see below for the options.
Volunteers will be provided a tshirt that they must wear during their shift, and also one meal during their shift (lunch or dinner, depending on the time of your shift).

This volunteer needs some knowledge of cycling and have great car driving skills. You will be driving a vehicle that we provide you, as a crew films riders behind you. Two people will be assigned together, a spotter & a driver; you can alternate roles.

Help set up the starting area, check in riders, set up lunch when it arrives, etc.

Route Stop Support (6)

You will start at HQ (Avondale Brewery) and be assigned to a stop along the route. You will be given drinks/snacks to hand to riders as they stop if needed. Your location will determine the exact time (about a 4.5 hour window).
