Welcome back to school! Listed below are our Opening Meeting TLC sessions, as well as the beginning of September offerings. Many more will be listed soon. We hope that you will join us to learn about topics that interest you and enjoy the company of colleagues.

Commit to 1% Mindfulness Group led by Teodora Nedialkova

1% Daily Mindfulness Practice(4 minutes a day) is scientifically proven to lower stress, cultivate healthier relationships and improve school performance. Monthly we will use resources from the book Happy Teachers Change the World to grow our practice.

America 4.0: a Collaborative Exploration of the National Social, Political, and Cultural Tensions that have Surfaced since 2008 facilitated by Lee Payton

PC Cultural Event: An Evening with Poet Laureate Joy Harjo at  the Parkway Central Library led by Joy Lai

This year, Joy Harjo became the 23rd United States Poet Laureate, the first Native American honored with this position. Her 16 poetry collections include She Had Some Horses, Conflict Resolution for Holy Beings, and, most recently, An American Sunrise.
