2018 Band Camp

This is the sign up for ALL THINGS BAND CAMP!  - Chaperones, Uniform Fittings, Band Family Picnic, Student Pizza Party, Ice Cream Social and Staff Lunches and Dinners.

All Chaperones must register as a Wake County school volunteer (after July 16th). This is done annually! So even if you registered last year, you will need to register again this school year! You are able to register at any Wake County School. Just walk in and tell them you would like to complete the volunteer registration. If you have children in different schools, the registration process will allow you to specify multiple schools. If you are a new volunteer to Wake County, you will need your driver's license with you when you register. NOTE: There will be several computers available at the Friday, August 3rd Family Band Picnic so you can register to volunteer at that time.

If you sign up to volunteer, please be sure to follow through with your commitment! If you find that you cannot volunteer on a date that you signed up for, please use the swap feature on this signup to request to swap with another person/date. Mark your calendars for the following special events during Band Camp:

  • FAMILY PICNIC ~ FIRST FRIDAY OF BAND CAMP, August 3rd - 6pm, Cafeteria

Be sure to attend the Annual Band Family Picnic. This will be catered featuring North Carolina style BBQ! Band students, Parents and Siblings are encouraged to attend!

and

  • PARENT PERFORMANCE ~ SECOND FRIDAY OF BAND CAMP, AUGUST 10th - 6pm, Soccer Field

Be sure to attend the Parent Performance!  Bring your parade chairs and get ready for a sneak peek! (All band students are required to wear khaki shorts for this performance.) All parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, and alumni are welcome to the parent performance. (Pizza Party just before the Parent Performance is only for band students and staff).
