Every effort is being made at the Corvallis Men’s Shelter to ensure the safety and health of Guests, volunteers and staff. Our practices are informed by the Benton County Health Department and the Oregon Health Authority. At the Shelter we share, practice, reinforce, and model safe procedures for hand washing, person-to-person contact (no hand shakes or hugs) and safe surface contacts. Reducing the number of guests, plus spaced placement of bunks and service areas will best ensure safe social distancing. Ample supplies of gloves, sanitary wipes, and hand sanitizer are placed around the shelter.
For volunteers our prime concern is to keep you safe and confident that the Shelter continues to be a safe space to serve the community throughout the year. The Shelter is located at 211 SE Chapman Pl, Corvallis, OR 97333
Volunteers will use sanitizer upon entering, practice social distancing, plus wear a mask at all times while in the Shelter. Separate sleeping quarters will be provided in the back area.
As always we deeply appreciate your time and concern for the Shelter Guests. Thanks for being a part of this effort.
