Thank you for signing up to be part of Unite With Light - MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 18th, 2021 designed to bring light to seniors who have been struggling with social isolation and food insecurity during the pandemic.
As part of this service project we will be hosting a drive-through assembly event between 1-3 pm at the JCC Annex located at 200 Forest Drive in East Hills New York.
We are asking participants who sign up to purchase some items ahead of time. On MLK Day you will "drive-through" to collect the rest of the items, and then you will deliver your package.
Step 1 - We are asking each family to purchase 5 items
Items for you to purchase ahead of time to include in your package:
Tuna, Peanut Butter, Crackers, Shelf Stable Milk, Cereal (cheerios or lower sugar variety)
Step 2 - Create a card to include in your package with an inspirational message
Step 3 - Drive to the JCC Annex with your items for the drive-through assembly to collect additional items.
Step 4- Receive the address of the recipient and delivery instructions
Step 5- Deliver -with safe contact-free delivery.
All partipants must wear a mask/face covering and practice social distancing.
