Rotary Club of Clarkston
2021 "Shoes for Kids" will be held on Saturday, November 20th at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6805 Bluegrass Drive (north of Clarkston off M-15).
We greatly appreciate your continued support and volunteering in the past. The plan is to make this year's SFK program bigger and better with Calvary Lutheran offering their larger church. Every effort will be made for social distancing. Hand sanitizer stations will be available. If health guidelines require that masks should be worn they will be provided.
Please consider asking people you know, family, business associates, friends or neighbors to join you in volunteering for such a worthwhile community service project helping Clarkston children.

On Saturday, November 20th "Shoes for Kids" will be hosting over 350 Clarkston school age children between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM in groups of 25 to 30 every half hour. We have over 150 volunteer time slots throughout Saturday in two hour increments. Local dentists will be donating toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Personal hygiene products including body wash, shampoo, creme rinse, and deodorant will also be given out. Donations of these items are also needed and greatly appreciated. They can be brought to Calvary Lutheran Church on Friday night, Novemebr 19th.
MPK Photography will offer a free family portrait or a photo with Santa Claus who will be making a special early visit to Clarkston.
This is a great opportunity for high school students or others needing Community Service Hours
All volunteers are asked to sign-in at the volunteer check-in table least ten minutes before the beginning of their shift. A brief orientation and walk-through will be offered before beginning a shift.
Food and drinks will be made available throughout the day to volunteers.
Over the past twenty-four years "Shoes for Kids" has provided for over 10,500 Clarkston children and the community has generously donated over $300,000 to provide new shoes, boots, hats and gloves.
100% of the donations made by purchasing a Rotary Club of Clarkston newspaper throughout Clarkston on Friday, Nov. 12th and Saturday, Nov. 13th allows us to help the children of Clarkston.
The option for making a voluntary donation has been removed as it was way to confusing and didn't meet our intended use.

This endeavor would not be possible without the support of the community and you.
