Rain Barrel Workshop

Tinicum Township Residents - Please Join Tinicum Township Environmental Advisory Committee for a Rain Barrel Building Workshop. Make a rain barrel to bring home! Discuss how this feature can be used in your landscape & learn about the importance of saving rain water. Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards will be on hand to answer questions.

All materials will be supplied to participants, FREE OF CHARGE! Supplies donated by Wehrung’s Lumber & Home Center and Coca-Cola Corporation. The Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic Management Council (www.lowerdelawarewildandscenic.org) supported

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Deadline to sign up June 8, 2022. To all participants: Please include email address, street addresss and cell phone number. We will email and text you if Workshop is canceld due to severe weather the day of the Workshop.

Please note* 2 sessions (9-11am or 11am-1pm) are availble. Sessions should run about an hour in length. Additonal slots for a "Waiting List" in each session, if the sessions are full. Waiting list will be notified if there are cancellations on a first come, first serve basis. Limited to one barrel per household.

As well, there is a slot for "Home Assembly."  In the event that you are not able to attend the workshop we will contact you to pick up barrel and parts for you to assemble a rain barrel at home. Instructions for assembly will be provided.
