Soul Kitchen Hope in the Slope

Join us as Illuminate's Soul Kitchen partners with our Hope in the Slope Ministry to take food for the body and soul to the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix. There are different serving positions available, such as food preparation, food serving, and spending time with the homeless in conversation or by sharing the hope of Jesus with them. Note the different start times depending on the position. We ask that all going meet to carpool. Please meet at the church picnic tables by 10:15 am. Contact Josh directly if you live in the Sunnyslope area and it is more convenient for you to meet us there.

Meet at the back kitchen at 9:00 am to prep the food we will be serving. Everyone going will carpool together by meeting at the picnic tables by 10:15 am.

Walk the street talking with the homeless, handing out water before the service begins. Sit with homeless after the service begins, eating, and worshipping with them. After the service answer questions the homeless may have about faith & help options
