Workshop: Sustainable Halloween: Décor and Fashion

Facilitator: Elizabeth Tran (Graphic Designer) and Gianna Shaw (Communication Ambassador) 

Date and Time: Wednesday, October 13 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  

Format: In-person (subject to change) – limited capacity (20 spots)

Location: Office for Sustainability 2529 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008

Cost:  Free for WMU students. $5 for non-WMU students.  There are limited spaces on a first come, first served basis.

Description: Sometimes Halloween can lead us to feel as though we have to spend money and buy stuff to properly celebrate, but we want to show you that you can sustainably enjoy the holiday by getting crafty and creative! The facilitators will discuss what a sustainable Halloween entails and how attendees can be more resourceful on Halloween and beyond. Attendees will learn various DIY costume and decorating techniques through hands-on demonstrations.
