BEDS monthly donation drives

Help make a difference in your community and the lives of BEDS clients by supporting one of our monthly donation drives. The mission of BEDS is to help vulnerable individuals stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services.

Each month, BEDS needs donors to help supply:

• Laundry kits - we need donors to provide 20 laundry kits each month for our clients. Clients sheltered need to wash their clothing at the local laundry mat. We offer them a "laundry mat kit bag" for this purpose. Each laundry kit should contain 1 sandwich ziploc bag with 2 laundry pods, 2 dryer sheets and $3.50 in quarters.
• Cleaning supply baskets - we need donors to provide 5 cleaning supply kits each month for our clients. Clients need to keep their homes clean. We offer them cleaning baskets for this purpose. Each cleaning supply kit should contain 1 basket, 1 paper towel roll, liquid hand soap, all-purpose cleaning spray, garbage bags and cleaning wipes.
• Small-denomination gift cards to grocery stores, fast food restaurants and gas stations
• Items for our BEDS, Bath & Plus program - BEDS helps clients get into an apartment they can call "home." We also help them with basic necessities such as bedding, bathroom items, living room items, curtains, kitchen supplies and more. BEDS, Bath & Plus kits contain two pillows, full-size comforter and sheet sets, bath towel sets, a shower curtain, liner and rings, a bath rug and bath accessories in addition to items such as laundry hampers, curtains, flat screen TVs, TV stands, hangers, storage bins and storage cubes.
