Westwood Winter guard showcase parent volunteer sign-up 2020!

Hello Westwood Band Parents! In this signup you will find a description of each committee that we need filled with volunteers for our Winter guard competition we will be hosting at Westwood on January 25th. Each shift is divided into 3-hour increments.   

Committee Leads are as follows:

Provide basic first aid to anyone in need. Triage if higher level of care is needed and act accordingly. Looking RN’s, MD’s, MA’s etc...

Prepare and serve snacks and other “meal” items for team directors, staff, and bus drivers. Minimal to no cooking on site.

Monitor team members entering and leaving gym. Check for TEAM color wristbands. Ensure teams are entering only between performances.

Monitor the performance Gym. Report/address unruly teams, spot check wristbands to ensure teams and spectators are sitting in their designated side of the gym.

 

Equipment/Prop Management (2)

Line up unit props in order of performance time, keep hallways as clear as possible, monitor for any hazards, ensure that props are promptly removed from the building after each performance.
