A Public Roller Skate session is open to all on a first sign-up, basis. This season our occupancy is limited so we need to make sure we don't exceed certain limits! This will be updated every couple weeks with new times!
If you sign-up for a time please be respectful and show up or cancel your reservation in a timely manner. Please share the spots so others may enjoy skating this year as well.
The cost is $5 per Adult skater, kids $3.00. $2.00 to rent skates, pay at office. WE have limited rental sizes! Please bring your own skates / blades!!!
Please skate incontrol at all times. Reserve the outside lanes for slower skaters. Listen to the rink staff at all times. Please Read the facility rules posted prior to entering the facility.
Please keep a social distance of 6' from other participants as best you can. Please abide by the city face covering mandate.
Please attest to a self-check every visit to certify:
- Do you currently have or have you in the past 24 hours had any one of the following symptoms which is new or not explained by another reason: fever at or above 100.4°F (38°C), chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, unusual weakness or fatigue, loss of smell or taste, muscle aches, headache, runny nose different from your allergies, or diarrhea?
- Have you had close contact with anyone in the last 14 days at home or in the community who has been confirmed to have COVID-19? Close contacts include people in your home, partners, or people who you take care of or who take care of you. It also includes people who were within six feet of you for more than 10 minutes while they were not wearing a face cover.
- Within the past 10 days, have you been diagnosed or tested positive for COVID-19?
If you've answered yes to any of the questions do not enter the facility.
There is a risk to skating, by voluntary participation you assume all risks and responsibility associated with this activity. I agree to release the PIR and affiliates of liability.
Covid-19 Waiver and Risk Acknowledgment:
The PIR has implemented measures recommended by the CDC, EPA, USA Hockey, local city and government ordinances to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. There may still be risks of contracting Covid-19. Such risks can cause symptoms ranging from mild to severe, including death.
By participating in the programs in this facility and upon entering the facility you agree to follow the measures and policies that are in place at the time of entrance. These measures are subject to change as more information becomes available. Upon entering the facility, I understand it is my responsibility to stay home If I feel sick, have symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for the Corona Virus.
Public Skate Session Rules:
Skate in control, and in the right direction, without endangering, interfering, or cutting others off.
Directions of Skate Guard on duty must be obeyed at all times.
While on the ice, skaters must keep moving.
No racing or speed skating is permitted during Public Skate.
No roughness, horseplay, tag or other game play is allowed.
Do not sit on the player bench dasher boards.
Do not hold hands while skating with more than 3 people.
Do not carry your children while skating.
Strollers and other props besides skating aids are only allowed on the rink during certain approved sessions.
No skating while distracted.
Do not do anything that interferes with another's safety.
If you witness someone doing something unsafe please bring it to the attention of the staff as soon as possible.
