Note that every day is different as the status of shelters changes througout the day. We will adjust shift needs as conditions change. You will be oriented to duties and tasks when you arrive for your shift. Prepare to be flexible.
Please present to the Red Cross info desk in the lobby of the building and ask to be directed to the North Room Nursing Station.

North Room Nursing Station

Population Summary (10/31/30, 10am): Approximately 300 total residents spread across three halls. Medical patients are mostly low acuity w/focus on SNF, COPD exacerbations, mobility issues, medication administration and prescription reconciliation and refills. An isolation room has been established for observation of suspected GI infection.
Thank you for your help! You will receive a confirmation email 24hrs prior to your scheduled shift, with site specific instructions and scope of practice guidelines. Also please review the Shelter Medical Health Team Model document and prepare to complete Form 214, for reimbursement of your agency by state emergency managers, during your shift. For students in need of Clinical Equivalency a verification log is available. All documents are attached for your convenience below:
