Energy Camp Volunteers

This summer camp teaches children in 3rd-6th grade the impact of fossil fuel usage, renewable energy options, and the fundamental skills that will be required as we downsize our energy use and environmental impact. Counselors and volunteers nprovide a basic foundation of concepts. From there, campers do hands-on experimental activities (like using solar ovens, creating their own solar bugs), hear from guest speakers, and go on local field trips!

The camp will be held over two weeks, July 11th-15th and 25th-29th from 9 am - 4:30 pm at the United Church of Tallahassee, 1834 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308
