Nurse/First Aid Attendants (2)

Nurses will remain at Briggs Park and will be on call to assist Walkers as needed. Route Driver Supervisor may contact nurses if any issue occurs for walkers along the route. Nurses must be prepared to travel to walk route in case of need.

Checkpoint & Refreshment Volunteers (5)

Checkpoint/ Refreshment Volunteers run the two checkpoints along the Walk route, giving out water bottles and snacks to walkers as they pass by, as well as the refreshment table at Briggs Park..

T-shirt Table Volunteers run the T-shirt table, giving away shirts to individuals who raised over $100, and selling T-shirts for $10 each.

Route Monitors (10)

Monitors ensure that Walkers get through the busier intersections safely. Monitors do not go into the center of the road to stop traffic. They help control the flow of people – not cars.

Photographer (2)

Take photos of the activities happening during the registration from 1:45-2:15pm. The Opening ceremony will begin at 2:15, take photos of the speakers. Once the Walk starts, get some shots of walkers but do not need to walk the whole route.
