Summit Downtown, Inc. (SDI) manages the Farmers Market to promote local producers, bring Jersey Fresh food to our community and to improve the health and well being of all of our neighbors.
The Give It Fresh Today (G.I.F.T.) table accepts donations both of food and money to enable access to nutrient dense food for Summit’s most vulnerable. Volunteers run the table making it an inviting stop for shoppers to drop off their excess fruit and vegetables, and to donate money for local charities to purchase fresh food. The Market Manager will be on hand to set up the tent, the tables and chairs and to answer any market related questions.
