Oregon Whale Watch

Whale Watch Training (Virtual) Winter 2022

Please review the three training dates on the next page.

Join us for a 3 hour session (Taking place via Microsoft Teams) in which you learn about the gray whales migrating past the Oregon coast, and learn about how to participate in the upcomming winter whale watch week as one of our amazing volunteers.

Lectures will be conducted by Oregon State Parks Staff, American Cetacean Society Members, and Oregon State University staff.

These sessions will be recorded for people who are unable to attend live.

All Oregon Whale Watch volunteers are encouraged to participate if possible.

(Attached is the most current version of the Whale Watching volunteer training manual. Please disregard the information and phone numbers related to camping. *An updated training packet will be ready soon)

Thank you and Happy Whale Watching.
