AAAA 2018 Swim Clinic
When: Saturday, October 27 at the Northside ISD Swim Center
David Benzel: author, athlete, sport-family coach, and sought-after speaker for organizations nationwide. He brings an athlete's discipline, a coach's inspiration, and a parent's practical experience to teach parents and coaches skills for succeeding in the athletic arena.
Roland Schoeman: Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Schoeman first took an interest in the sport at the age of thirteen, and he began to compete three years later. Roland said he began swimming only to impress a girl he met. This marked the beginning of a career that would garner eight (8) World Records and span four (4) Olympic Games (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012).
Cost: $15/swimmer. Price includes athlete meet and greet plus Jason’s Deli Box Lunch*

9:30-10 am: Roland Schoeman with coaches: prep for clinic
10 - 12 pm:
- Water Session: 12&O @ Swim Center
- Parent Talk: w/ David Benzel @ NS Sports Gym
- 11&U Swimmers: Movie: Pride (rated PG). Athletes can either watch movie or attend Parent Talk.
12 - 12:40 pm: Lunch
12:40 - 1:15 pm: Roland Schoeman Talk for everyone
1:15 - 2 pm: Pictures and Autographs Roland Schoeman
2 - 4 pm:
- 11&U Water session
- Parents in stands
4 -5 pm:

What to Bring: Athletes should have suit, goggles, and towel. Coaches, if working on deck, your white team shirt.
Registration will be limited to the first 100 athletes (for each age division, 11&U/12&O), first come, first served. Checks, made out to AAAA, should be given to your club coach no later than Friday, October 12, or you forfeit your slot to those on our waiting list.
