SFB's Annual Walk-a-thon

Our third and last mandatory fundraiser

 

We are walking to raise funds to expand technology in school, hence SFB CONNECTS WALK-A-THON. “SFB Connects” goal is to raise at least $20,000 to expand the tech curriculum with additional mini iPads and possibly some Chromebooks. These devices are essential for discovering new and challenging learning opportunities and for enriching our kids' minds!

 

Event Details

Date: Saturday, April 6th

Location: Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts (SOTA) track

Time: 9:00AM to 12:00PM

Volunteers Needed: 6:30AM to 1:00PM

Volunteers Needed

Your help is invaluable for making the walk-a-thon a successful event. You can earn a max of 10 total hours per family, including a combination of hours worked and donations.

Earn Bonus Volunteer Hours!

You can earn extra hours in a few easy ways:

1. “Early Bird” Volunteer: sign up by March 15th and get one bonus extra volunteer hour!

2. Donate a Canopy: let us borrow your 10' x 10' canopy for an additional bonus hour.

3. 6:30AM Transport Volunteer: if you have a pick up truck or vehicle with lots of cargo space AND volunteer for the early morning supply loading and transportation crew (yes...6:30AM team!), you will earn double hours for this manual effort.

 

Your participation will make this a fun and successful day. We are grateful for any help you can provide and appreciate your understanding if we need to shift volunteers around to other tasks on the day of our walk-a-thon. Thank you!

The kids always love this fun community building event. Invite your friends and family to join us for the walk-a-thon. We appreciate your support and participation!

Large vehicle with cargo space such as vans and pick up trucks required. Meet at SFB to load vehicles with supply boxes, food, tables, chairs, etc. and take to SOTA. 2 for 1...earn double hours!
