Each year, St. Luke’s provides dinner for a women's shelter operated by Interfaith works during the week of Memorial Day. This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to support our neighbors dealing with housing challenges. Shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began Interfaith Works had to find a way to appropriately follow social distancing guidelines to help protect women in need of shelter. That was when IW Emergency Shelter at Coffield was started. 50 clients are housed at Coffield each night and we've offered to provide meals on Tuesday and Thursday of St. Luke's week to this alternate location. We've created a signup that includes a larger team of volunteers for just these two nights to purchase or prepare a side dish, main dish, salad, bread or dessert. Dinners are reqiested to arrive by 4:30 PM at Coffield and are DROP OFF ONLY - the address is provided below. Please prepare your dish in a container you don't want back, if possible. The staff are able to come out to your car to pick up your item if you prefer.
