Newport Ski Swap

2022 Pre-Swap Leaders

Newport Ski Swap 2022

The 36th Annual Newport Ski Swap is being held Nov 11-12.   This is the PTSA's largest and most important fundraiser of the year with all proceeds going back to Newport High School teachers and students.  Ski shops and individual sellers bring lots of new and used items to sell at amazing prices.

We need volunteers (parents and students) in two parts:

1) Before the Swap: We need volunteers to familiarize themselves with certain lead positions and help make the swap, a $3/4 million enterprise happen.  Time requirement: approx 4-5 hours leading up to the SWAP and minimum of one full day during the SWAP.

2) During the Swap Weekend (Nov 10 -13, including set up and take down): The general SignUpGenius Volunteer Signup will be published at the begining of October; time requirement in 4 hour increments.

You do not need to be a skier or snowboarder to volunteer - just a willingness and perhaps certain skills set to contribute and help plan for this fun community event.  Check out the positions that might interest you.

Plan for a SKI SWAP orientation meeting on Wed, Nov 2, 7:00-8:30pm in the Newport HS Library.

We are all in this together, for our Newport students and teachers! Students, this is a great way to get your community hours.

Once you sign up, you will be contacted by one of the SKI SWAP, leaders.

Questions, contact SKI SWAP directors, Ben Anderson or Don Meyer: [email protected]

Thank you in advance for volunteering.
