Musical Audition Guidelines

• Sign up for the earliest slot available in your preferred time frame.  The last time slot will only be available if all other audition times have been filled.

• Be aware that everyone in your audition group will perform his/her musical pieces, then you will all learn and perform a dance audition piece.  Plan for a 90-minute audition time.

• Choose an audition piece that best highlights your natural musical talents.

• Our preference is that you provide sheet music, as we will provide a fully-qualified accompanist at auditions. However, if that is not possible, you may also use a CD or a recording on your phone.  A cappella auditions will not be allowed.

• If you do choose to use a CD or a recording, it MUST be an instrumental version of the song.  We do not want you to have to sing over voices on the CD or the recording.

• Relax, and have fun!

General Audition Information

• The call back list will be posted before school Thursday.  If you are on the list, be prepared to be at call backs until 5:00.

• A call back is not a guarantee of a role in the show.

• The cast list will be posted after school Friday.  Check the cast list even if you were not called back, as we may cast those not called back.
