If you joined us for the diversity potluck in September, you don’t want to miss this! Our potluck event will kick-off at 6 pm and will be a place for community members to come together for food, drinks, fellowship, and conversation. Leaders from the Alliance for School Integration and Desegregation (ASID) will join us to discuss the current state of school segregation in New York City, as well as how we experience and respond to it in our daily lives.
The conversation is grounded in the work of Fred Ross and Cesar Chavez with the Community Support Organization (CSO), and that Chavez later used to found the United Farm Workers (UFW) union. Our gathering is intended to raise awareness, shift discourse and build community. We hope you will join us for good food and good conversation with good people. Please RSVP here.
Please bring a dish or drinks to share.
Childcare provided. Please RSVP, and include your child(ren)'s age in the comments.
6:00pm - 8:30pm EST
