Grades 5 Thru 8 Parent Workshop

Parents & guardians of students in grades 5-8 are invited to a Stay Connected: Helping Your Child Navigate Tough Choices workshop led by Hallways.

Hallways promotes positive youth development, so as to equip young people with the skills needed to manage challenges that they may face socially and emotionally. By building critical life skills, students are more likely to thrive and less likely to engage in problem behaviors.

Hallways "Stay Connected: Helping Your Child Navigate Tough Choices" workshop provides parents/caregivers with the latest research, information, and tools to effectively communicate with children around challenging issues, such as navigating social media, responding to peer pressure, and resisting early drug use. Hallways combines first-hand conversations in the classrooms with best practices from the field of Prevention Science in order to support parents in understanding risk factors while a promoting social and emotional health for their children.
