Volunteers Feeding South Florida
September is Hunger Action Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of the hunger crisis nationwide. In South Florida approximately one million individuals face hunger and have no idea where the next meal is coming from. Food shouldn’t be an impossible choice. Feeding South Florida works to make food available and accessible to those who need it most. Join us during Hunger Action Month to take a stand against hunger by sharing, volunteering, donating, fundraising, and other actions to draw attention to this critical issue.
Feeding South Florida is committed to serving individuals, families and older adults experiencing food insecurity and we are doing all we can to care for our community. Volunteers will assist with the inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food. If you are in good health and wish to serve, please sign up for any of our volunteer shifts.
Students 12-14 may volunteer when registered as a team member under an adult 18 or older who will volunteer with the student. Students 15 and older can register, sign up and volunteer independently.
