Set Up Food Stand (12)
Watch the food stand take shape before your eyes. Set up the tent, place equipment where it needs to go, and create a restaurant in the middle of a park. Strong backs needed.
Clean & Stock the Food Stand (12)
Every part of the food stand gets washed and ready for food service. Help stock the buns, pop, freezer, etc. We'll test the grill before noon and try out the burgers.
Work as a team to grill lots and lots of burgers
Make the burgers to order by adding pickles and/or onions. Work as a team with a Wrapper Asst.
Deep Fryer Asst (16+)
Assist the Deep Fryer by filling French fry and chicken strip orders.
Deep Fryer (18+)
Fry up chicken strips and French fries.
Order Taker (12+)
Work as a team with the Cash Box to take customer orders. Must be a good listener and detail oriented.
Cash Box (18+)
Total the cost of the order, collect money and make change. Work as a team with an Order Taker.
Order Helper & Trays (12+)
Move the order along and wipe trays clean and restock them. Position is best for someone just getting started working at the Food Stand. Note: this position has changed slightly since we're not serving hot dogs.
Burger Wrapper Asst (14+)
Work as a team with a Burger Wrapper to fill the food order. Must have a strong voice as you'll be calling out chicken strip and French fry requests.
Order Fulfillment (12+)
The most important position! This person is the last stop before the order goes out and ensures the order includes food, drinks, and other goodies. Must be organized and able to multitask.
Beverage Filler (12+)
Fill beverage orders and keep the cooler stocked.
Order Number Caller (11+)
Use the microphone to call out order numbers. Fill last-minute customer requests including ketchup packets and extra napkins.
Dining Area (12+)
Keep tables stocked of ketchup, mustard, and napkins. Clear trays and wipe down tables as necessary. Monitor garbage cans and empty as needed.
Dishwasher / Condiments (12+) 12:15-1:00 only
Wash and sanitize dishes as necessary. Refill condiments and help where needed. Work from 12:15-1:00 only.
Pie & Ice Cream (12+)
Prepare pie and ice cream as well as coffee and hot chocolate orders. Follow the direction of the shift manager to complete a variety of miscellaneous tasks.
Use a cart to get food from the elementary school to the food stand. This position works independently as well as closely with the food stand manager to do a variety of tasks.
Dishwasher / Condiments (12+) 9:00-10:00pm only
Wash and sanitize dishes as necessary. Refill condiments and help where needed. This shift is from 9-10pm.
Cook (18+) Cook shift starts at 10:45am
