The Jefferson Swim League is powered by our awesome volunteers! Our 2022 Championship Meet (July 29th & 30th) is no different and will require over 500 volunteers. Each team is expected to contribute EXPERIENCED workers to fulfill their assignments. See the link below for a brief description of each Champs Position:
Team Assignments: We have made our best effort so all assignments are balanced out according to approximate team sizes (as of the third meet of the season) to encourage equal participation in the Championship.
Arrival Time & Check-in: Volunteers and coaches should arrive based on their assigned time and check-in at the volunteer table located in the Main AFC Lobby to the right of the gymnasium. At check-in volunteers will receive a badge that will need to be worn at all times. If you are a Marshall you will receive a vest to wear.
Age Requirement: Swimmers or young people (18 or under) should NOT be allowed in key positions such as timers, judges, clerks, however they may be allowed as Team Leads, Coaches and Tent Cleanup.
Due Date: The volunteer team assignments are requested to be filled by July 20th, due the week prior to the start of the meet.
All jobs are split into Friday morning 8&U, Friday afternoon 13&Over, Saturday morning 10&U, and Saturday afternoon11&12 sessions.
ONLY ONE VOLUNTEER should fill any one position, there will be relief workers scheduled for rotations.
There is a 25 point Champs penalty assessed against teams for each unfilled position or for volunteers showing up more than 15 minutes late or leaving early.
