Volunteers for H.O.P.E.
Every Saturday morning, we assemble hundreds of meals for children and pack hundreds of bags of fresh produce for their families. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families and groups.
Details include:
- Activities take place between 9:30am – 11:30am
- Volunteers will be met by our Operations Manager, Salem, and receive all instructions for the morning
- Volunteers will pack produce items into bags and stage them on racks for distribution
- Volunteers will then assemble nutritious meals and stage in coolers for distribution
- Light clean up is done once all food is prepped for distribution
WE RECOMMEND, BUT DO NOT REQUIRE, FACE COVERINGS FOR THIS ACTIVITY FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS
We are located at 355 NW Crawford Place, WSNC 27105. This is in Kimberley Park, located in the Boston-Thurmond neighborhood. We are about a quarter of a mile east of Kimberley Park Elementary School, on the north side of the street. Easiest access off University Parkway is at 25th street.
We welcome families with children for this activity! All ages welcome! No pets please.
If you are interested in a Saturday morning that is either full or not yet listed, please email our Operations Manager, Salem Kirby, at: [email protected] to let her know you are available.
