Little Rock Zoo and Downtown Little Rock Partnership

Shadows at Sixth Street

The Haunted drive thru event will be hosted by the Little Rock Zoo and the Downtown Little Rock Partnership. The event will utilize the cities top talent and keep our local community working. Both organizations collaborated and came up with a plan that will provide central Arkansas residents with a safe option to give the whole family a big night of fright and fun.

Event Dates: October 8-October 31, 2020

Event Theme: Hope in the Midst of Fright

As your begin your journey into the haunted parking garage you will enter the Foggy Swamp lands and meet witches, swamp monsters and hungry Alligators. If you escape to the next floor there you will be thrown into some of Arkansas most notable ghost stories from all across the state of Arkansas. Are you familiar with the tale of the Hitchhiking woman that disappears as the man drops her off at home? Have you heard of the Gurdon Light? Experience these and many more as you explore the carefully crafted vignettes built and designed by the Repertory Theater and the very dramatic lighting and special effects by CWP Productions. Again if you are brave enough to continue you may be able to escape through the madness, horror and ghostly beings to the King Scorpion protecting the Tree of Hope. Once you arrive to the open air of the top deck you and your vehicle will be underneath a canopy of lights and the illuminated Little Rock Skyline. The view alone is breathtaking, but to be under the canopy of 10,000 individually installed LED lights and a tree that is 5 stories high, you know you have escaped the madness and will then exit the parking garage. We hope that taking time to plan an event such is this will bring the Spooky Spirit of Halloween while featuring some of the top ghost stories locally and providing a bit of fun and whimsy with the Tree of hope. Halloween is a time for family fun, but a little bit of fright might be just what is right!

“Pay the toll to the troll to begin your journey into the tree of hope! While on the road to the tree of hope each vehicle will encounter many hauntings, rooms and galleries of Horror!”

Important Information:

Please arrive between 6:00 p.m.- 6:15 p.m. each night.  Parking and check -in will take place on the bottom floor of the parking deck at 6th and Scott.  Please go to the check-in center to fill out a COVID questionnaire and have your temperature checked.   All volunteers and staff should be onsite and have completed a pre-event COVID screening no later than 6:30 p.m.
