Rotary Club of Annapolis
The AACFB is asking for healthy volunteers to sort and pack produce and non-perishable food items at their facility in Crownsville. Following all COVID-19 Protocols, volunteers must wear masks, long-sleeve shirts and pants, and close-toed shoes. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival, and this opportunity will likely be inside their warehouse, but social distancing of more than 6-feet will be observed.
No skills needed, just have a heart to serve others, an ability to follow directions, and lift a box of approximately 20 pounds. Please wear your Rotarian red shirt, as an identifiable way that Rotarians are helping our local community.
A separate, non-contact need: a text to donate number has been set up for Rotarians that want to give money to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. A staggering number of 221,000 community members have been helped by the AACFO in 2020 alone, and as the winter sets in, the need increases. Please text Text "AACFB14" to the number 71777 from your mobile phone, and a link will be sent to you to donate.
Please review the available slots on the monthly dates (first Tuesday of each month) below and click on the button to sign up. Questions, please reach out to Jen Denney ([email protected]) and 410-271-5346. Thank you!
