Cookies and Notes for the Rescue Mission

Bake batches of cookies or brownies that accompany our 4th Saturday dinner meals at the Tacoma Rescue Mission. Please use caution when handling cookies using the utmost care with hygenic practices. It's best if they aren't too hard or chewy for those with poor dental health. We also want to protect your cookies so it helps if they are delivered in a shoebox or something firm.

Those living on the streets can feel pretty isolated. Through your cookies and notes we offer a bit of personal connection and encouragement to go with the meals our teams serve. Notes can be partially pre-printed to save time or fully handwritten. We plan to serve 200 meals, about 100-150 people, which can be a lot of notes to complete but we'd love for you to include your life group, family or friends in this opportunity.

Deliver cookies before each 4th Saturday according to the sign up time. If you can't make it on the Wednesday meet up time contact Marelise Nieuwenhuizen about delivery. [email protected], (304) 549-2194
