St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity

Women's Build Week

In recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are planning to have a week of women-only volunteers on our job site in New Richmond from October 6 through 9! We will be working on a 4 bedroom home for the 5 members of the Flores family. Our goal is to be done by the end of the year and we need YOUR help!

More information:

  1. A typical build day is 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM with a half hour lunch break.
  2. For safety reasons, and as part of Habitat International requirements, we ask that volunteers are 18 plus. Volunteers aged 16 & 17 are allowed on site with a personal adult supervisor or guardian.
  3. All dates are subject to reschedule or cancellation depending on weather and subcontractor schedules for things that we do not have volunteers work on (such as plumbing, HVAC, etc).
  4. You do not need to have construction experience to volunteer-but if you do have experience, please let us know!

If you have any questions, please email Jessie at [email protected] We hope to see you on site soon!

Please note: in order to sign up, you must click the "sign up" checkbox on the date entry, and then the "Submit and Sign Up" button located at the bottom of the page to be taken to the next screen!
