Urban Hike

Come join us for an educational urban hike in our Antiracism series!

This walking tour will visit important sites in Downtown Tallahassee, coordinated by Michael Metz on October 9, 2021.  We will meet at the First Presbyterian Church downtown at 9 am and then walk to 8 different historic black history sites in downtown Tallahassee.  The sites include the Civil Rights Heritage Sidewalk, the Smokey Hollow neighborhood, the Anita Favors Plaza and the C.K. Steele terminal and statue.  Since the walk is 3 miles long and will last about 2 hours w ear comfortable walking shoes and a bring a bottle of water .   Please join us for all or part of this enlightening journey into Tallahassee's past.
