Would you like to participate in dialogues with people of various beliefs in order to understand how they apply their principles when making decisions, resolving conflicts, overcoming fears and expressing joy?
Frederick Interfaith, a local organization that formed after 9/11, fosters spiritual understanding and love among people of diverse beliefs. Frederick Interfaith strives to love, listen to, and respect everyone, regardless of their beliefs. We address significant issues of our time and work to increase our appreciation and understanding of others’ viewpoints. As one of its outreach activities, Frederick Interfaith for years has sponsored an annual Amazing Faith Dinner Dialogue. This year the event will be virtual.
Initially the group will begin as one group, and then ZOOM breakout groups will form to share discussion and questions. Each person will be asked to consider a question and then answer it in their small group. The questions will be about how our beliefs have influenced our lives. Trained moderators will facilitate each dialogue.
People of all faiths and no faith are welcome! This event is free. There will be a special group for Youth (under age 25) for each date. This year participants may eat supper at home during the event. A time of virtual fellowship will follow the event for those who want to continue the conversation.
