"The dealth of a woman from pregnancy-related causes is one of the greatest tragedies that can befall a family and a community," wrote Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams, MD, MPH, Vice Admiral, U.S. Public Health Service in a foreward of the Call to Action. Adams went on to state that time has shown that adoption of best practices in the home, community, clinic and hospital has led to better outcomes for women and infants.
As part of this webinar we will be discussing portions of the U.S. Surgeon General's Call to Action in addition to our discussions on how to improve your In-Situ Simulation program with your facility, improve teamwork and communication through the use of Simulation, and discuss how we can do better in OB when it comes to Simulation in order to save women's lives. This is an opportunity for action and we are here to partner with you!
