More Moms for Babies Campaign
The United States is the most dangerous place in the entire developed world to give birth in and there is no excuse for that. The U.S. ranks 59th in the world, dead last, in maternal mortality outcomes. While advances in many hospitals have taken place over the last few years in regards to improving maternal care, there is still a lot of work to be done. It is time to standardize, implement and improve our systems of care.
Join us as we dive into the importance of why your hospital should apply for Joint Commission's new "Maternal Levels of Care Verification Program" that is set to launch in January of 2022. We will share with you how the program was developed, provide you resources, how the program aims to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity through the growth and evolution of systems that will help standardize perinatal regionalization and risk-appropriate maternal care.
