2022 Fall Choir Auditions/Evaluations

Welcome to all members and prospective members of the Salt Lake Children's Choir! All auditions and evaluations will be held by appointment with our director, Mr. Woodward. We are currently holding auditions for the 2022-23 season in the Recital Hall at Day Murray Music (4914 State St, Murray, UT 84107). Please sign up for an available time slot below. If you need to arrange a different audition day, please call Mr. Woodward at 801-537-1412 to set up a time.  

There is no need to prepare a song or any other special preparation for the audition/evaluation. Just come excited to share your singing voice with Mr. Woodward, director of the Salt Lake Children's Choir! Mr. Woodward will do some simple singing activities with you to get a feel for your current voice and musical abilities (and be very encouraging in the process!). We hope that you all have a wonderful experience, and look forward to seeing you!  

This year we are offering two weekly choirs to meet all our singers' needs:

Wednesday Choir

• This ensemble emphasizes correct vocal development, beauty of sound and musical literacy.  Its purpose is to provide a valuable learning and performing experience, as well as the foundation to a rewarding singing future. 

• Rehearsals are Wednesdays 4:15-5:45 at The Elizabeth Academy, 2870 Connor St, Salt Lake City, UT 84109 

Tuesday Choir

• This ensemble is very specialized with extremely high artistic standards. Placement in the Tuesday Choir is to fill specific needs and requires not only talent, but absolute commitment and dedication.  

• Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 4:15-6:00 at The Elizabeth Academy, 2870 Connor St, Salt Lake City, UT 84109
