The purpose of a Hope Garden is to instill hope and happiness. Hope Gardens bring a community together to collectively smash the stigma associated with mental illness. After a long winter, tulips remind us of perseverance and the renewal of spring.
Join us on our mission to smash the stigma!
Come plant a tulip bulb or two during Mental Illness Awareness Week! Your bulb can represent your hopes or goals for the year, or the bulb can be in honor of someone you love and or someone that was lost to suicide. Whatever you want!
Friday, October, 9th From 12:00 pm-4:00 pm at UW-Whitewater's Campus Memory Garden
Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm at Carvath Lakefront Park
