Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) is committed to feeding those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offering programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve quality of life. Sign-up to support this mission through assembling sack lunches or simple hygiene kits at home and delivering them to the TASK facility. The need is great!
Sack Lunch – peanut butter & jelly sandwich (please put peanut butter on both sides of the bread and the jelly in the middle), an individual serving of fruit (banana or apple), juice box and a napkin packaged in a paper lunch bag. Volunteer to make 25 lunches.
Hygiene Kit - bar of soap, deodorant, toothbrush, full-sized toothpaste, full-sized shampoo, and a disposable razor packaged in a one-gallon Ziplock bag. How-to Video. Volunteer to assemble 12 Hygiene Kits.
Finished kits and lunches can be dropped off at the TASK main building, 72 ½ Escher Street, Trenton, New Jersey, Mondays, 8:30am-2:00pm.
