Ride The Region Event Support

On Saturday, September 3rd, motorcycle riders from all over the Region will ride throughout the streets of Northwest Indiana to raise awareness and funds for individuals facing hunger. The Ride will begin and end at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana (6490 Broadway, Merrillville), with kickstands up at 10am, returning for the closing rally celebration at 12pm. This year features a poker run, so at each poker stop, bikers will pick a playing card, and mark it down on their poker score card. Once they return to the Food Bank, all poker hands will be graded to see who has the best hand! We are seeking volunteers to help at the Food Bank and at each of the poker stops. All proceeds will support hunger relief programs and services throughout Lake and Porter Counties.

Tasks include taking a deck of cards, and fanning them out face down, for the guest to pick a card. The guest will mark which card they picked on their score card, and head to the next poker stop to receive the next card of their hand.
