Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration Run, Walk & Roll 2022

Hello! We are looking for awesome volunteers for our 25th Annual Run, Walk & Roll on Sunday, September 18th in Griffith Park! This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year and we need over 100 volunteers for this event. We hope you can help us make this milestone year.

Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration is an international non-profit based in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to foster social inclusion for children with disabilities through inclusive playgrounds and educational programs that unite children of ALL abilities. Funds raised from this event will support the costs associated with our three signature programs that teach compassion and acceptance towards people with disabilities. Together with your help, we will have the ability to reach out to even more children and families.

This is the timeline for the event on Sunday, 9/18/22:

6:45AM - Registration Begins 

7:00AM - Exhibition Fair Opens

8:00am - Opening Ceremony

8:30am - RUN, WALK & ROLL BEGINS

10:00am - Closing Ceremony

11:00AM - EVENT CONCLUDES

Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

4:30am-6:30am

  • Set-Up (20)

  • Registration (6 Adults only)
  • Registration - Spanish-speaker (2 Adults only)

6:30am -10:30am

  • Raffle (3 Adults only)

7:00am-11:00am

  • Finish Line (10)
  • Route & Root Cheerleaders (20)
  • Route Safety Guides (16 Adults only)
  • T4SI Buddies (20 High School Students)
  • Tattoo Booth (6 - Students okay)
  • Team Photo Booth (2)
  • Water Stations (16)

8:00am - 12:00pm

  • Refreshments (8)
  • Volunteer Booth (4 Adults only)

9:00am-12:00pm

  • Clean-up (10)

10:00am-12:00pm

  • Clean-up Crew (4) - stays until the very end

SATURDAY, 9/17/22

We also need volunteers on Saturday to help set-up tables, chairs, and canopies from 8:30am - 11:30am. Plus, we need volunteers to help guard our set-up from 11:00am - 8:00pm. 

Most shifts are 4 hours long. If you can help longer, please sign up for more than one shift. Just click the SIGNUP button beside the shift you would like to volunteer for.

Cheer participants and direct them on course

Adhere temporary tattoos to kids (good for students)
